4 week old baby should she be looking at my face

She is only four weeks but I'm a little concerned as she is not looking at faces even a I feed she looks past me at something else wen e everything I've red say she should be studying faces!! What e other people's four week olds do?

Congrats! She will likely be drawn to contrasts so black picture frames on a White wall, that kind of thing. My 9wo preferred looking at my DH at that age as he has very dark hair - he liked the contrast. He used to just look past me. He now gazes at everyone adoringly sometimes mostly. Don't worry!

If you are worried though, it might be worth mentioning it to your HV.
