I have no clue where to start, I would like to learn to speak it (and eventually to read it), not sure what resources are any good, my Dad won't help as he thinks his mother tongue is useless in the UK.
I would like to do some chatting over Skype once I know the basics or in person, I tried using the "My English for your Farsi" feature on gumtree but the locals wanted me to pay them and the ones from further afield and willing to go on skype either had a very conflicting schedule or didn't speak enough English, so we got quite stuck and eventually gave up
