Water babies class during naptime

The water babies class at my local pool runs on three mornings a week at 10.20am. DS, 7mo, is in a nice routine of napping around 10-10.30am each morning. It's the only nap I can guarantee he will take and he is overtired as it is so I feel strongly about him getting it. I don't want to take him when he is tired and grumpy either. He gets up around 8am. What would you do?

Don't take him to the class

Or

Change his nap. (wake him up earlier so he naps earlier too)

How far away from the pool are you? Do you drive there? I had this problem and found DS would nap in the car on the way.

Don't take him to the class. Naps and regular good-quality sleep are far more important than swimming at 7m.

Leave for the class 20 minutes early so he falls asleep in the car and gets a little nap? I used to do this.
