Potty training girls

My DD is 2.10 and I'm trying to potty train her. Tried in the Summer but she wasn't interested so am giving it another go now. We've bought pants that she chose and a nice potty, and have gone straight for pants with pullups for night time. However, when she sits on the potty, she doesn't actually do anything then will make a mess on the floor a couple of minutes later. She seems bothered that she is wet and will take herself off to change her own pants, but can't seem to get her to wee in the potty itself. Also tried a toilet seat but no joy either. Tried distracting her on the potty with games, book, blowing bubbles etc, rewards such as stickers or a chocolate button but nothing. Any help/advice would be gratefully received.x

Sounds like she's not ready. Give it a go in another couple of months.

Get a copy of Princess Polly's Potty. We read it to DD every day for about a month before she asked to start training. She was dry in the day in about 3 days. Our copy has gone round 4 sets of friends and worked with each one.

Sounds like she's not ready.

Leave it with her, she'll do it much quicker and easier if you wait until she's ready.

Dd2 was 2.11 when she asked to wear big girl pants for school. I've had potties hanging around for months and she just wasn't bothered. Then literally overnight, she just did it.

Clean and dry day and night - no more nappies, pull ups or potties.

Thank you for all your replies, I was starting to suspect that she wasn't quite ready so will try again in a couple of months.
Glenthebattleostrich - I've just ordered Princess Polly's Potty, thank you so much for the link.x
