My dd 8 months is constantly thirsty and wakes up in the night 2 or 3 times for a drink and has a full small zippy cup at a time. At a guess she has 7 or 8 small zippy cups a day plus 18oz milk. Is this normal and how can I help her sleep better?

Has this always been the case? If not, get her checked out for diabetes as bring thirsty is an early symptom.

Yes as long as I can rem she has always been like this

I would take her to the GP, all that squash and she's still thirsty, this could mean a health problem.

In the meantime she might find plain water more thirst-quenching?

Would second going to GP.

Is there a reason why you aren't offering milk when she wakes ? Could she be hungry?

I would cut out the squash. Water a better bet if not milk.

When she wakes its only for few sips so she won't have a feed, will seek drs today
