pulling almost 4yo back into routine?

kind of dreading the return to pre-school etc, needing to get up and out for 9am start, plus returning to normal levels of TV and chocolate. We have had a lovely time, DD1 has been as good as gold, but she has watched way too much telly etc. How do I get her back to normality?

Wean her off 10-20 mins at a time over the next week before pre-school starts again, getting up earlier also, just make little adjustments back to the normal routine. Be prepared for hideous tiredness during and after the first week back.

good idea; yes, part of the good behaviour has been the fact that she's had enough sleep - amazing how much difference an extra 40 minutes makes
