5 yr old with BO

hi,

My 5 yr old girl has BO and I don´t know what to do. She has a bath every night and she isn´t conscious of it but when I get near her it´s quite bad. We live abroad and strangely in the summer when it´s really hot it doesn´t seem as noticeable as it is now. I have started using kids body sprays (without any harsh chemicals) which makes it better but is this normal at her age?

Thanks

Thanks. Yes, will do that. Think that is a better option. x

Could you swap her night time bath for a morning one? Or a quick shower?
Most people sweat a lot over night and it might help keep the smell away a bit better :).

Yes a morning wash would be much better IMO

Hi Mosciva, I would definitely talk to GP. It can be many things & not wanting to worry you but my 2yr old developed BO in the summer & then pubic hair in Sept. we're currently having investigations into her hormones & what's going on. It's always better I have things ruled out

Thanks all. Mammykaz - blimey that must have been a bit of a fright. I have made an appointment for next week so will see what the doc says. Hope things with your little one sort themselves out.

That's really good to hear mosciva, chances are it won't be anything to worry about at all. X
