Co-sleeping confusion

Am obviously a crap mum for not knowing this, but not sure what co-sleeping is!!!!

Is is sleeping IN your bed, ON your bed, in an attached co-sleeper but in a separate enclosure, or in a basket/crib/cot next to your bed?

Does it only refer to night, or are you co-sleeping if you dc naps on you on the sofa during the day?

Feel amused that I might be doing it without realising!

It means they sleep in the bed with you, on top of the duvet.

technically co-sleeping just means sleeping with your baby at whatever time and wherever.

bed-sharing is when they sleep in the bed with you.
