HELP!

My little girl us bow 6mths old and we are planning to move het into her own room asap. It's causing me sleepless nights even before we have started though as up until now she has slept in my bed and she still requires nursing to sleep as I am still breastfeeding.

Does anyone have any tips as to how I can help her with the transition whilst causing her the least amount of distress.

Thanks

I have no tips as I never co-slept and I think that might be the hardest part to crack, but will say if you don't feel ready (and it sounds like you might not be) then there is no rule that says you have to move her yet.

I'd move her first to a moses basket or cot next to the bed, and gradually move her away from your bed. that should help transition.

Why is it giving you sleepless nights already? Are you not ready to move her? I wonder why you are planning to move her ASAP? Don't try to do anything too quickly or before you are ready.
