Quick question, is 5 and 7 too young to get a nintendo DS (handheld console for those that dont know Wink ) for christmas? My 7 year old already has a ps2 so Im not too worried about him getting a DS but my partner is whinging at me saying my youngest is too young at 5.

Any advice welcome.

i would think they are both a little young. why not start with a basic game boy, or similar. cheaper too.

mmm I dont think they are too young. I was bought one by dh but my little boy who is 2.5yrs plays dogs on it quite often [yes he is time limited on it].He knows exactly what he is doing and loves it.
