Is he feeding ok? My DS did this and kept falling asleep when feeding and so not feeding properly and then getting low blood sugars and not having enough energy to wake up. I went to A&E and had to express my milk and feed him that way. He eventually starting waking up again and I went back to breastfeeding. Not saying this is happening to you but might be worth checking.

I would call nhs direct now and take advice. I think if baby goes onto sleep all night too then you might have a problem and you'll be asleep so won't know. I wouldn't leave it until tomorrow, 7 weeks is very little and nobody would think you were being over-cautious. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks for your advice. I did call and they advised I keep a note of feeds and nappies for next 24hours. I have been giving him bottles of expressed milk to monitor the amount and he's feeding well. He woke at about 6:30 and stayed awake until about 10:15 but was alert and playful. This has totally put my mind at ease. Thank you again, the support on here is always second to none Smile Smile Smile
