6 Week Growth Spurt. Advice needed!!

Hiya,

My 6 week old DS has just (I think) had his 6 week growth spurt...he upped his feeds and was awake a lot. Today, however he is sleeping loads! Is this normal after a growth spurt?

My baby is 5 weeks old and every day is different - no normal when it comes to sleeping or feeding yet, don't think there's meant to be! Go get some sleep yourself ;)

I think it's pretty common for babies to have a sleepy day or so after a big cluster feeding session. DD used to do it. Make the most of it and get some sleep yourself :o

My dd is now 9 weeks but she had a massive growth spurt at 6 weeks, lots of feeding and slept most of the day and night which is very unusual for her. I'd say totally normal :)

hi, I have ds who is 6 weeks and is also going through a growth spurt. He's feeding every 2hours for no less than 15minutes at a time but he to is also sleeping more than usual. I went to my local breastfeeding group today and everyone said this was normal

its reassuring speaking with others going through the same thing.
