I am 99% headed towards this wrap, but want to check if anyone who has used these has found they dig into to their baby?

I use both and prefer Airflow BUT my DS is 2yrs old and I only started using them from 11 mths.

If you are using on newborn, I'd say Rikki cos they don't need to bend much and they are quick and easy to do (also they will hold a poorly or unfastened nappy which airflow won't.

I have heard that Bumpys wraps have softer aplix than Motherease, so may be worth checking them too.

I have used the Rikki wraps since DD was born and she's still using them at 14 months. Haven't experienced any problems. We begun with using the lovely Sandys nappies and now am using cloth nappies from local nappy laundry service - Rikki wraps fine for both imo.

i think you just have to make sure the hook bit isn't by their tummy so it doesn't mark.
