What is the best book to buy now that my DD is hitting the terrible 2s?

What Every Parent Needs To Know - draws together all the neuroscience about baby and child brains and tells you exactly what's going on when they have a tantrum and why, and what responses will help them get through it the best. We've found it really useful in explaining why you should neither punish nor ignore a tantrum.

I like Toddler Taming by Christopher Green. It makes me realise that my chlidren are normal, and is very down to earth. There's also a handy development run-down at the back which I have found very useful.

If they are hard-core like my DD then 'Setting Limits With Your Strong-Willed Child' is pretty good.

I also liked Dr Sear's 'Good Behaviour Book'
