i have heard that ones with leg gussets are best for containment. for bamboozle users which wraps do you find best? i want to use PUL ones.

I use motherease with everything. Haven't tried the Bamboozles yet but have a friend who uses them with motherease

Chuffed · 06/04/2006 09:23

I use mine with motherease or bummis wrap.

Motherease poppers wraps are the best out there IMo in terms of reliability - never a leak after 2 babies using them. I don't think you need gussets as long as your nappy and wrap fit well. THe Motherease velcro ones do have gussets though if that works best for you.

Naturebabies (poppers) also have leg gussets too and are slimmer fitting that a ME wrap. I prefer the naturebabies ones over a Bamboozle because the overall fit is really slim but still lovely and squashy Smile

do the nature babies do aplix wraps?

I've just discovered earthwise baby wraps (in aplix) really like them - nice and stretchy and haven't had any leaks at all (previously a motherease fan too). Since ds has started moving quickly found ME poppers too slow!

MummyToToby · 06/04/2006 19:54

have you tried the rikki wrap with aplix? i think that's the one i'm going to go for.

motherease airflow are THE best!

trust me, i've tried pretty much every other one out there, lol!

oh and gussets make no difference at all IMO...

starlover · 06/04/2006 19:56

how old is your LO?

i hate aplix wraps now because the aplix tends to be quite wide and stiff and can dig in when they're sitting up

not so bad for little babies ythough

jazzyp · 06/04/2006 20:03

Motherease Airflow gets my vote!

MummyToToby · 06/04/2006 20:42

someone mentioned on a different thread that with the fleece wraps their baby gets a bit sweaty. do you get this with PUL wraps?

OP posts:
starlover · 06/04/2006 20:47

nope, not at all

Yorkiegirl · 06/04/2006 20:54

air flow without a doubt. DD2 can undo velcro so rikki would be no good.
At night we use a stuffie nappy fleece wrap or puddlepants wool longies/babylonglegs wool longies.
The air flow fits perfectly over a bamboozle.

MummyToToby · 08/04/2006 11:39

i've been told you just have to make sure the hook bit isn't on the tummy to stop it digging in.

I use a Tots Bots fleece wrap over my Bamboozles, and find its a great combination. I only get a problem if DD has been in the carseat for a long time (I get a slightly wet patch where her weight has been pushing the nappy against the wrap and her clothes). Otherwise, its great!

Motherease airflow here. I do occasionally use nature babies, but prefer the side poppers with the motherease.
