6mo DS has always been swaddled in his blanket to sleep in. He is so strong now he manages to untangle his arms and get the shawl over his head covering his fave. I bought him a grobag last weekend but now his arms kep waking him up as they are now oose rather than wrapped in. What should I do now?

I was going to suggest trying a muslin swaddle around his arms, but again that will just come free. Perhaps time to just wean him away from the swaddle?

Swaddling isn't recommended by FSID - I would wean him away too.

If you think having warmer arms would help have a look at Pureflo sleeping bags as they come with detachable sleeves.

I use mothercare walk in sleepers, a 2.5 tog babygro so no blankets on top, works really well for me and I adjust what ds wears underneath it according to the temperature guide, it's basically a baby onesieGrin

Iam not concerned about temperature with the seep bag moreso him waking himself up with his arms.
