cloth nappies for 2 yr olds

Hi I'm looking for advice on cloth nappies for a large 2yr old who is nowhere near potty training. He's over 35lb and so is out of the totsbots size 2 that I'd been using. He now won't lie down to get changed so pull-up style is favoured. Any ideas anyone about what might work? All i can seem to find is trainer pants which don't hold much wee so no use at present.

What about Tots size 3? You can get the applix ones on quite quickly, and they're secure once you've got a wrap on. Not sure what their max weight is though.

hi laura, i'd thought about tots 3 but getting the 2 layers on is a real fight now, even with aplix. Thanks:)

what about Mother ease sandys (or toodelr ease even which is what the largest size is called)

you can even sort of pull them up and down like pants and if boosted they are a relatively absorbant nappy (MUCH more so than a one size) should do night as well.

also they are really soft and seem to stay soft even in had water areas and they arnt that bulky, tho are bulkier than birth to potty size nappies

have a look \link{http://www.kittykins.co.uk/cloth-nappies/type/13\here}

bottom.. it's stuffable, so you can make it as absorbant as necessary

hi starlover, have you used minki yo-yo's i take it htat you don't also need a wrap over the top of it? I bought one to try out - got it today any one else used them?
I might still try motheease toddlerease nppies as they seem to be about the biggest that are still nappies
thanks

no, i haven't used the yoyo, but have some other minki nappies and wraps and really like them.

and no, you don't need a wrap either so once it's stuffed you can use it just like a pull up!

cool thanks I'll give it a go tomorrow and see how he reacts
any other suggestions are very welcome in this ever ongoing quest for the perfect nappy :)
