Is 'Room on the Broom' an ok present for a 5th birthday? I've got it for my nephew but am now worried it might be too 'young' - my dd is a baby so I don't really know whats appropriate for books at that age.

Sounds fine to me.

My 5yo loves it.

I have a 4 and 6 year old. My 4 year old would love it but yes somewhere around 5-6 these picture books do seem a little. 6 year old wouldn't be impressed.

I'd probably go for it!

I was covering for one of the dinnerladies at school on monday and as it was wet play we were in one of the classrooms. I had a group of 4/5/6 year olds crowding around me asking for stories and room on the broom was one they asked me to read. Some of the more able in that age group would be able to read it but they all enjoyed the story.
