DD1 is 3 1/2. She's been potty trained during the day since she was 2.

She's desperate not to wear a nappy at night as lots of her friends don't wear them. We have big arguments everynight when its time to put one on.

Last week she had a couple of dry nappies, so after a long chat with her we decided that she wouldn't wear one last night. I lifted her at 9.30pm (when I was going to bed...) and she did a huge wee. Sometime between then and the morning she wet herself, but slept through.

My question is - do I try again tonight, or is she obviously not ready? Should I try for a couple of more nights and if no sucess then, give up? I don't want to make life much harder at the moment than it already is. I've recently gone back to work after having dd2 and workign full time leaves me little time to be washing bedding everyday.... Any advice much welcome.

Thanks!

If I were you, I'd leave it. You've got enough on your plate as it is, and if you leave it till the summer then at least you'll be able to get the sheets dry, and she won't be cold in bed if she wets and doesn't wake up.

Try putting her in a different kind of nappy, may be a pull up, so that she can go to the toilet if she wants?

hth, I'm just having this dilema myself, but my dd's 5! She was dry, but was so tired when she started school she started wetting again and sleeping through it so I'm going to wait until summer and try again with her!
