i want to start using my tots bots size 2's with DD2 - have been very lapse on the washables front.

i would like some funky wraps which will fit over these nappies.

i'd like bright funky and girlie ones, preferably water-proof, for her

kittykins.co.uk- totsbots wraps in several patterns. I have some of these (the strawberries and blue spots) but on my daughter they sometimes leak and she can remove them quite quickly.
Mostly I use nature babies wraps (also sold by kittykins), she has a leopardskin (thank you DH), pink spotty, pink gingham and two plain wraps in lilac and lavender.

Weenotions have just started doing wraps and they look fabulous. Lots of bright patterns

Has anybody used the nature babies ones? I need to get some new wraps. I've been using the motherease riki ones and I'm bored with there designs and want to try something new. I like the designs on the nature babies ones, but are they any good??

Belo · 03/04/2006 16:16

Just re-read your post MummyinChH. I like the pink spotty one. I take it by the number you have that they must be good!

Naturebabies wraps are really good. I've got the pink bubbles one, a turquoise tie-dye and a purple planets one (from Twinkleontheweb). THey're great for daytime but get ever so sllightly damp after 12 hours at night.

just saw the weewonders ones today - they are beautiful and look really well made. V tempted Smile

So far I have always bought the plain ones but for fit I have found Motherease airflow wraps the best pver tots bots.

katzg · 04/04/2006 09:03

thanks for all your suggestions

i will have a think!

one more question

if DD is currently wearing size 1 tots bots with a small motherease wrap what size naturebaby wraps should i get to go with my size 2's when we make the switch?

Belo, I love my nature babies wraps, much better than the tots. They fit over all the different types of nappy I own and I have found them very reliable (the extra bit of material on the leg cuff really does the business).
Katzg-the ones I have are size Large and I think they would be your best bet for size 2 tots (and any other nappies you might have). I find they fit well on thinner size 2 nappies as well as thicker size 2 nappies.

mcmudda · 05/04/2006 20:05

Katzg - the new style nature babies wraps have really useful poppers horizontally along the front so you can reduce the rise of the wrap if you have a wee baby. Most nappy sellers should specify whether they're selling old or new style. Get the pink bubbles one - they're so funky!

Wee Notions are superb - great colours, good fit, and really beautifully made. The best of the handmade nappies and wraps, IMHO.

Nature Babies new design wraps are really good too. Very nice fit.

Ooooh oooh!!! Sooo (unfeasibly) excited! Dd's Wee Notions wrap arrived today and it is beautiful! Lilac with little ditsy print flowers, baby pink binding and poppers and a midnight blue PUL inside. Amazingly well made, gorgeous colours and dare I say better performing than any of my other wraps?? Knowing now that there's resale value in all things nappy I a m totally going back for more! Grin Fits perfectly over Totsbots 2 - quite generous over chubby thighs.
