small baby isn't growing

My baby was born at 38 weeks by emergency section and is very small at only 5 lb 5, while in hospital after his birth he got very sleepy durimy feeds and as a result was put on special formula tp get his srent

Sorry to hear that. How old is your baby? What does the hospital say about his growth?
My dd was born at 38 weeks and weighed 5.13. She put weight on rather slowly too...are the doctors concerned about his weight?

DS was 36+3, 6lb15 at birth and lost 11% of weight by day 5. It took 4 weeks for him to regain his birth weight.
He just wanted to sleep all the time, we had to wake to feed every 3 hours. He is 21 weeks now and huge! In 6-9 clothes.
He'll be ok xx
