little dry red patches on babies face

Do you think I should go to the doctors?

I've been using johnsons in the bath but she's 6 months old so surely this would have happened before now and wouldn't it be all over her body?

Any other idea what else it could be? I've not changed washing powder or anything, it seemed to disappear last night but it's back again today

Most likely it's teething related - babies often get bright red patches on their cheeks when they're teething and 6mo is a prime age for that. Obviously if she seems particularly unwell or anything then take her to the gp.

I put lanisoh on my DS face when it went like this (after moisturising with aqueous cream and allowing to soak in). They went away after a week or so and his skin was lovely and soft :-)

Yes teething or if the patches feel very dry then it could be the weather. If she's been outside with you and felt the cold on her face and then back into central heating.

Lanisoh cream helps, or vaseline
