Grateful for a basic playdough receipe. I've flour (ordinary, plain or self- raising?), salt and food colouring. What more do I need and what do I do with the ingredients? Thanks.

Quite similar to the one on the link is...
Dissolve 3/4 c salt in 3 c boiling water with a few drops of food colouring until completely dissolved, add 3 1/2c flour, add 3 tbsp oil and 3 tbsp of cream of tartar and mix well. It will be quite sloppy looking, allow to cool and if it hasnt absorbed and is still sloppy add more flour. Lasts for ages wrapped in clingwrap and kept in fridge.
