I am going to do the:

PTTLS course - preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector

and then after that

Diploma in teaching in the lifelong learning sector.

I just wanted to speak to others that have done one or both really.

I was wondering if there is alot of studying to do on the days that you do not attend classes?

I am currently doing an NVQ level 3 in business admin and hoping to finish by christmas. But with this there is quite abit of work to do at home. Just wondered how others have found the two courses I have mentioned.

Its all very exciting and hard work at the same time, but I have wanted to do this for ages and glad I finally can.

Also I would love to hear if you have started to teach etc after the courses.

I would repost in Chat or Going back to work.

Hi, I did PTLLS a few years ago. I didn't find it hard academically but there was quite a large amount of work to do to complete the portfolio.

I haven't used it much as I went on to have another DC/go on mat leave etc.

Good luck.
