sorry i know i've already posted a similar thread, but no replies as of yet..
i was considering using these as it is my local shop but i wanted to know if anyone had experienced any leakages first. i am talking about the material type ones not the plastic ones.

Not used Somerfield, but have tried most other own brand nappies and my conclusion is they are all fine for daytime use.
I only use a huggies or pampers at night because they can manage to hold gallons!
Plastic covered cheapies aren't much cop though - although I am using Tesco value on my son at night as he only pees occasionally.

Haven't used Somerfield, but only ones I really like ae the Lidl ones. They're excellent, as good as Pampers imo.

Lidl are particularly good; also Aldi are well worth trying. Tesco, Morrison, Sainsburys also fine. Not too keen on Boots own brand - these seem to leak more often than others.
I hate paying the extra for pampers / huggies because I know most of it goes on advertising.

I wouldnt call the Lidl ones plasticky but not sure what you mean. I thought they were very good and excellent value. Its just a pity Lidl isnt near enough. I think Sainsburys are now pretty poor, they used to be good but have had some leaks. I am now trying superdrug because they are nearby too. If they are no good it will be another special trip to Lidl.

MummyToToby · 30/04/2006 12:28

i was told the lidl ones have that plastic coating on the outside.
