Chicken-seasoned and fried with lid on,, new potatoes, peas, carrots, gravy.

Yorkshire puddings if I have any in freezer.

Custard and a digestive (or 2) for pud.

Have just started to buy beans and sausage in a tin and ds1+2 love them with a potato cake or toast.

heliotrope · 02/10/2012 13:30

Macaroni 'peas' from Hugh FW 'VEg' book. I'm trying to cook less meat and DS is dairy allergic so no cheese for him. I'm going to do some small crispy bacon bits in it to up the flavour for him. I know that is meat too, but just a little...

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 02/10/2012 13:31

Ds2 hates eggs but ds1 used to love (and still does) scrambled egg and toast, with a little butter melted on top.

A bit of my carluccios chicken and spinach risotto ready meal. I have given up trying to cook specific toddler meals as she doesnt like them. The best chance I have is if I am eating the same...

MrsPear · 02/10/2012 13:38

What we are eating - mild chicken curry with rice and salad bits

JollyToddler · 02/10/2012 13:39

Something with chicken. With either rice or pasta. He won't eat potatoes.

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 02/10/2012 13:44

How about a toasted sandwich with chopped cucumer/carrott on the side and rice pudding with a spoon of jam for pud?

beela · 02/10/2012 13:45

leftover chicken & leek stroganoff from Jamie's minstry of food book. We had it last night, it was yummy.

oreocrumbs · 02/10/2012 13:47

Either roast chicken or pork steaks whichever needs eating first. Not sure what to do with them though, probably new pots and veg.

NoKnownAllergies · 02/10/2012 13:52

Fish goujons, new potatoes and salad.

lynniep · 02/10/2012 14:07

will be pasta bolognese tonight as thats what I yanked out of the freezer this morning before work!

bbface · 02/10/2012 14:11

3 Fish goujans (marks, not homemade) handful of sauteed potatoes, one large carrot cut into batons. Followed by fruit puree.

Whatiswitnit · 02/10/2012 14:14

Same as the rest of us: gammon, pineapple, roast potatoes, broccoli and cauli with cheese sauce. Probably fromage frais for pudding tonight as I haven't made anything puddingy.

Whatiswitnit · 02/10/2012 14:16

BoysBoysBoysandMe - scrambled eggs are always a winner in this house. Or dippy eggs and soldiers.

LaundryFairy · 02/10/2012 14:16

Not a toddler, but still toddler-friendly: ham and cheese crepes.

detoxdiva · 02/10/2012 14:17

Spaghetti mixed up with red pesto and a tin of tuna with some cheese stirred in. Sounds Hmm but they love it!

Rubirosa · 02/10/2012 14:17

I'm making a Tuscan bean soup. He probably won't eat it (might eat the beans) but then he rarely eats what we have for dinner.

Shakey1500 · 02/10/2012 14:18

Chicken Chasseur, easy peasy. Chop chicken, throw in pyrex bowl, cover with homepride sauce, 20mins in oven. Probably with brocolli and cauliflower. Chocolate pud for pud Grin

JollyToddler · 02/10/2012 14:20

Okay - chicken whizzed up with apple, egg and breadcrumbs to make burgers. Served with rice cooked quite soft and mixed with raisins, peppers and onions.

I am having the same. Dh is working late tonight so it's just the two of us.

JollyToddler · 02/10/2012 14:20

And yogurt afterwards probably.

TheArmadillo · 02/10/2012 14:21

same as the rest of us
Allegra Mcready's lamb and aubergine kebabs in pitta with some salad and leftover romesco sauce.

matana · 02/10/2012 14:21

Roast poulting fillet with new potatoes, cheese sauce and peas. Rice pudding for pudding.

anairofhope · 02/10/2012 14:23

10 month old and 3 yo.

Today: chicken mash veg and gravy for oldest one
Tomoro: cottage pie
Thursday: meatballs and egg free pasta for youngest and speggeti and meatball for the rest
Friday: fishfingers and mash with veg

bulletwithbutterflywings · 02/10/2012 14:24

Gammon, potato cake and peas, Yoghurt or mini milk for afters

Pinner35 · 02/10/2012 14:25

My DD's have got salmon fishcakes and peas, followed by bananas and custard. DH and I are having leftover chicken satay from DD's dinner yesterday (cos I made loads!) Recipe here - not yet met a child who doesn't like it.
