my child is nearly 4 and is very shy and quiet. he will not talk to most people when asked a direct question even if he knows them. When he started nursery in Sept he did not talk directly to any staff for a long time. I am getting worried about how he will settle into school in Sept, and ask for help etc with his coat or at lunch time. I am debating whether I should enrol him in some gropus to build his confidence e.g. tumble tots or even a dance class but am unsure if these will have the opposite effect eg make him more reserved. Any Advice?
