Am I a boring playmate?

I cannot seem to hold DS's attention for more than a couple of minutes at a time before he decides to crawl off and do his own thing.e.g. play with the fridge magnetes,PAT the cat!.Even when I try to join in these games DS looses interest quickly and goes onto something else. When he is in his play pen he plays quietly with his toys but as soon as I let him out He is off (he is not caged up a lot).Is it me that is just too boring for him, should I be trying to make games more exciting(HOW?) or is DS just a normal crawler and I should just butt out?

Let him get on with it - he is exploring which crawling babies love to do.

Hiya
My DS has some games that are very exclusively SAM GAMES. No mummys or daddys allowed. He loves me to buld towers of bricks for him to knock down, or to roll a ball back and forth, but somethings if I try and join in he just looks at me blanky and stops doing it as tho I have ruined the whole game!! Made me feel quite bad 1st few times, but I am learning to read what is a Sam game and what is a joining in game now.

I am sure you arent dull at all.

I'd but out,he'll soon be at the stage where he'll want you to play with him all the time and you'll be drooling with boredom as you push yet another train around the trackGrin

terrible mum ,me!
