I feel your pain. DD has HFA, and sings. Constantly. 24/7. To keep herself calm and block things out.

DS2 has ASD. He hums. And hums. And hums. And hums. And hums. Monotonously. All. Fucking. Day. Every. Fucking. Day. For almost 9. Fucking. Years. He also has verbal diarrhoea. And echolalia.

DS1 has been mooted as having Aspergers. I can't be arsed to go through the diagnostic process yet again. But he taps, taps, taps, fidgets, fidgets, fidgets all day.

Silence...the elusive goal.
