What has happened to my 4 yr old ds!

Week 2 at school and he's spitting, scratching, screaming. Being increasingly rude and cheeky, whiny. He's basically being horrible. I don't think I like him at the moment and this makes me sad.

He's not staying in bed at night and the naughty step just seems to bring the worst out of him. I sent him to his room today as he was being so awful.

I'm finding him increasingly hard to parent.

None of this is directed at anyone else except me and his dad. At school he's perfect apparently.

I'm exhausted by him

Is this just happening since starting school? Was he fine before? If so, hang in there. I'm sure things will improve once he settles in. Have you talked to him about how he is finding school?

He is very very tired. I've got a four year old DD in exactly the same place. Hang in there, with lots of cuddles instead of the naughty step for a couple of weeks. Cut him a bit of slack.
