Problems after Nursery

DD attends nursery 8 - 5 on W/Th/F every week. Saturdays are one huge meltdown in our house, doubtless due to tiredness and maybe boredom.

DD naps exactly the same at nursery as she does at home, she eats well here and at nursery and is very settled and happy. We usually keep things quite calm on Saturdays but wondered if anyone else had the same issue and how they handled it.

DD is 2.

Sounds similar - ds attended 3 days a week, not all consecutive, and on his days off was always knackered so I'd let him lounge much of the morning, or if we went out, come back so he could nap. It got more obvious when he moved up a room and would fall asleep on the way home so I had to go back to using the pushchair!

Regular snacks can help.
