Booked PFB into Crèche at gym 2mo & starting to wobble....

PFB is 4 months old and as it stands will be going to Crèche at my gym tomorrow whilst I do a 45 min class.

DS has so far only been left with DM for a fews hours so I must have been feeling exceptionally brave earlier to have booked it as now having a major wobble about it.

Please tell me he is going to be fine & it's all very normal! It is right - he can be left? :)

Will them come and fetch you is he is upset? Has he met them before?

I left DS at 3mo he was fine, they will come and get you if they can't distract them with toys.

As predicted all was fine Smile

Yes it's in the same building so they would just fetch me! By all accounts he just sat & watched the world go by in a post feed haze!

I felt pretty good too doing something for me Smile considering rebooking for next week as surely has to get easier?!

Thanks

well done, DD is 8 months and I left her for 20 minutes in a creche when I did a course at a surestart centre but I had to retrieve her as it was only next door and I could hear her crying. I did tell them to bring her immediately if she got upset as I knew she was tired and would need feeding but they tried to settle her first, which didn't work. There's a 1st aid course for 3wks at my surestart again but I'm too anxious about leaving her to do it. The creche is in the same building and it's 2hrs but I just can't do it as I know she won't know the creche workers and can't bear to upset her if I'm not there to comfort her

if you're lucky enough to have a creche at the gym, take advantage of it! as you say it's great for you and i'm sure little one will be fine as long as he is fed beforehand, and they will come and get you if needed. enjoy the time for you.

fhdl34 why not pop into the creche before the course begins so that you can spend some time with the carers, might make you feel a bit better about leaving her there. it's not always possible i know, but if she's fed and slept first she might settle better. a first aid course will be good for you both, after all.

my PFB is four months, btw.

[smle] at post feed haze. So glad it was good for both of you.
