If she is getting incredibly upset, why don't you just give her a really good wash all over?

Is it the stripping naked she doesn't like or actually getting in the water?

When do you bath her?

nailpolish · 16/03/2006 14:28

my advice is to get in the bath with her, cuddle her close to you. you will enjoy it as much as her.

i can second the sharing a bath idea - really helped me bond with dd and stopped the screaming in the bath.

use warmer water

vkone · 16/03/2006 21:33

It's difficult when it's so cold, I didn't do more than a bath a week with DS and used the sink - I did share a couple of times, which was lovely but had to have DH or Mum around as I had a CS and had to be careful.

I think the best advice is do a sort of bed bath (or change mat bath)and make it quick til spring springs and it gets abit warmer Smile

I agree with starlover, when dd was born I was using one of those bath temp things and she hated it, I then decided to try it warmer and she has loved her bath ever since.
