DP starts his PGCE this week and SFE payment schedule said payment for first terms grants were due today.
He registered on the 22 August but online payment status says 'approved', not even been prepared/submitted yet 
. We really could have done with this money this week, rent to pay, books to buy etc.
I used to work for an LEA and covered the student finance phones for a favour so I know how the systems work so the bullshit SFE have given DP doesn't fob him off, poor guy resorted to 'my system has magically gone down so I can't help you'.
I'm so annoyed that they're seemingly already behind before the bulk of students register.
