(That was the sound of my yell as my brain exploded Wink)

Finally got DS to stop screaming with wind and fall asleep... so DD decides that jumping loudly round the lounge, and then (when I told her to stop because I wanted him to sleep for 5 mins) goes and get her hideously noisy ride along car thingy to beep next to his head Angry

The majority of the time I'm of the opinion that DS will learn to sleep through it, but today the screaming has reduced me to tears and I need him quiet for a few mins.

The joys of learning to be a mummy of two....

FS, I could have written exactly what you wrote!!
It's the same in this house... why do they need to get louder? Maybe we should try reverse physcology? "Yes go on.. shout as much as you like! Jump around" .... "er no mum i'll sit quietly and watch Balamory thanks"

(hmm, in my dreams.) Grin

Try being the mother of a little baby with 2 older boys bouncing off the walls. Sigh. They just don't do quiet. And they're 5 and 7 so really should know better.

Have to say, DD does sleep through an awful lot. It's more the sudden loud noises that wake her up rather than the general pandemonium of normality.

Wow! all the kiddies under one roof! My DS1 is 2.6yrs and my DS2 is 8.5 months.

I hope they keep quiet for you! Smile

Postedon other one..

Ah flamesparrow, know that feeling, I've just started putting dd upstairs to her crib, for her naps. I don't know why I didn't do it earlier.

However, she's about 18 weeks old, so not a wee newborn. DS2 used to go up to her when she was sleeping peacefully and go "Ahhhhh" in her ear.

Poor wee soul, scared the living daylights out of her.

So not much help from me, I'm afraid Sad

Things did get better... DD had her first afternoon at preschool, so me n DS got some quiet sleep Wink

Although she did love it a little too much, so I now have miserable child today because she isn't going!!!
