What to do with my 7mo DD

I need ideas of things to do/games to play with my 7mo DD.

She can sit up unsupported and has learnt to crawl. I try and take her out for a walk every day. Otherwise we sit on the carpet and she bangs her toys together or crawls around and chews things.

I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what else i could be/should be doing with her.

We don't have a car so getting to hell soft play centres, etc is a bit difficult although we do go to a playgroup once a week.

I have a 7mo dd and I don't do anything special with her tbh. I also have a 4yo so really dd2 trails along. DD1 starts school next week so I'll have a bit more time for dd2. We'll start going to music group etc but mostly we have cuddles and little chats and she watches me go about my business whilst eating mud and banging things together :)

Ah, that makes me feel a bit better! I sometimes just have this vague nagging feeling that we should be doing stuff Smile

It is a rather awkward age - I remember feeling like I should be doing things too! We mostly went to baby/toddler groups and still do. Lots to look at, moms for you to chat to, and when they get a little older, other kids to play with. Don't feel bad, just keep doing what you're doing. We also liked to look at pictures in books and touchy-feely material books. They take so much in at that age just by looking and listening, so keep talking, singing and doing what you're doing.
