8 Month old suddenly upping sleeps and feeds?

Dd was a regular eater and sleeper, milk on waking and before bed plus two 4oz.bottles during the day. Took well to weaning eating cereal for breakfast, sandwiches and fruit etc for lunch then meat and two veg for dinner (small portions of all of course).

Sleep wise she slept 6.30pm-7am with two45 min naps in the day.

The last few days she has upped her naps to 1.5/2 hours each, and having full 8oz bottles at all four feeds, plus her food.

She had an hour nap this morning and an hour later was yawing and eye rubbing again. kept her up foranother half an hour, then put her down. She just is craving sleeps feeds!

Is this normal?

I think it is. My DD was like this when she went through a growth spurt.

You'll maybe find that you notice that she's out grown some clothes over the next few days/weeks.

Is she still sleeping ok at night?

Food and sleep requirements differ radically when they're having a growth spurt so if everything else is fine then I'd say this is normal.

Go with it I guess. One thing I've learned is that as soon as they have something resembling a routine, it changes!

My 8mo sleeps 7.30-7am ish, and has a monster 2hr nap at about 11.30-1.30 and then just a 30min nap at some point in the afternoon. He has only recently gone from 5 bottles to 4, and finishes them all pretty much. He is BLW though so the amount he eats at mealtimes varies massively.

Dd is blw too so I suppose doesnt always take in a set amount.

Her sleep is brilliant, however last night she woke numerous times and wanted fed each time. i assumed it was because she slept at Nanas the night before so felt a little unsettled (her first sleepover there).
