My DD sleeps in the prayer position. up on her knees. She has never tolerated blankets and just sleeps in he pjs - but as we begin the trog into autumn and winter I think she is going to need something. Anyone got a 'prayer' in a gro bag successfully?

Ds sleeps in all positions. Secret is to make bag big enough. So he moved up to 18-24 months at 14 months.

Also, find ones that are looser around neck. Gro bag are quite tight. Mother care ones work for us.

You can get padded sleep suits that are like a babygro and a blanket all rolled into one. I got one for dd from Mothercare last year after she decided she hated the grobag but was too big to be swaddled. The suit is thick and quilted and kept her snug all night.

My dd sleeps like that in a grobag.

Dd slept like that in a jojo sleeping bag no problem. She has gro bags when she was bigger too

DS used to sleep like that in grobag, it was fine but best when the grobag was really quite long, like when growing into the age range IYSWIM.

Do you mean with her bottom up in the air? Mine managed it in their grobags, so cute.

DS2 contorts himself into many positions, including the prayer position and he's in grobags and bags from this company.

And I second what PPs have said, get them a bit bigger so they can wriggle around.

Yep, in a sleeping bag, bum in the air sleeper here too.
I think GroBags are far superior in quality to any other brand we've tried (2 kids), but I only buy them from TKMax. We've had the boys in pink ones before now!

Pascha · 25/08/2012 19:49

Oh yes, DS spends half the night with his bum in the air. Get the next size up when the feet get close to the end and it will be fine.

Thanks everyone. Will be looking for a sleeping bag for dd. didn't want to waste money if she couldn't get into her fav sleep position!
