dd has potty trained herself in less than 3 days - proud mummy moment!

I'm so pleased with dd. She is 2yrs 3mths and now fully potty trained during the day. Still put a nappy on her at night but when I've got her up the last couple of days her nappy has been a lot drier and her wee in the morning is very yellow as though she's been holding it.
I only started on Friday and by Saturday she had no nappy on at all throughout the day. Yesterday she pooed in the potty no problems and has done so again today.

I can't believe how easy it was. Last week I was thinking I'd leave it until Easter so just shows how quickly things can change.

Just wanted to say to anyone potty training - it can be done - as long as you let them do it at their own pace - it seems, when they are ready, they are ready!

I used to be so of people like you when training ds1, took us over a year!

I hope we're the same..dd2 suddenly decided to sit on a potty today (after months of resisting!), did a wee, then looked down and said "oh no, I've still got my nappy on!". Bless her! (she's 2.9 btw)

That's good Orinoco, you are on the right track if she's actually wanting to sit on the potty.

dd was in a creche for 2 hours this morning and waited until I came back and then used the big toilet.

I am proud

Bless her! My dd's been sitting on the potty today... admittedly not taking her pants off, but it's a start
