Ideas on stuff to do with son?

Hello All

I am returning to a 4 day work week soon. I will have Thursdays off with my son (9 months old). I would like to use that day to do something fun and bonding with him and at the same time get myself some physical activity. I am not keen on a mother-baby group as he would be getting enough interaction with other babies while at nursery.

Any ideas on what I could do with him that would be fun but exciting for both him and me? Perhaps something that would allow for me to do some physical activity (and get fit) myself.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Whereabouts do you live? When my DS was that age we did Bany music class (lots of dancing for both you and DC), soft play, trips to the local park to go on the baby swings and slide, walks around a local nature reserve..... Loads of things.

Hi thanks. I live in the Redbridge area (near Romford). What is Bany music classes?

My husband does swimming with him on a Saturday and the baby cinema here is on a Tuesday (but I work on that day).

Really grateful for the ideas.

Going long walks means your son will see lots around him, and you get fit at the same time. It's a win/win situation for you both.
