DS just went down for his nap but he done a poo just as he was falling asleep i didn't want to wake him up again as he's not a good sleeper nd would struggle to go back down so left him. He will only sleep for 20-30 mins so thought he would be ok but now i'm thinking o should have changed him.

WWYD? It dosn't seem to be bothering him he's sound asleep. I know this is daft but i can't help but wonder what others would do (and what i should have done)

Let him sleep. If he's fine and will wake if you try, then don't risk it!

Depends on their age and therefore likely contents of nappy Grin
But really for such a short nap I would leave him to sleep too.

I would leave him to sleep.

If they nappy was dry, he will be OK.

If the nappy was soaking, he'd need to be changed.

As a once off, I wouldn't worry about it. It is not as if you never change him. DS was a TERRIBLE napper (until Gina, but that is another debate Grin) and I can understand the relief of getting him off to sleep!

thank you he was fine he's 6mo and eating so not many runny poos slept for 35 mins so couldn't have bothered him :)

It's funny the things you worry about with your baby

The general rule is you leave them to nap. If it bothers them that much they wake up themselves to let you know they need changed!:)

Give him extra air time after you change him later.
