Dd is 10mths and had very little nappy rash. Had a few spots that have been stubborn over the last week. Have been using sudocream and it seemed to be going but suddenly back with avengence. Two spots have broken the skin and are sore. It's the first time this has happened. Using metonium now. Should I continue with this or take her to the gp? Just worried about it getting worse. Ftm!!!!

Do you have some nappy off time? Fresh air is the best thing for nappy rash.

Lots of fresh air and we have always found the Johnson nappy cream helps. if it won't go away after a few days the dr can prescribe stronger stuff.

No garden - think we should hit the park and let her off the nappy !!

Or spend some quality time in bathroom...! We did that once when away. Smile

metonium is really good and so bepanthen,it works in a couple of days, but if the skin is breaking, might be better to get something stronger from the gp :)

Have you tried Metanium and removing it with baby oil?
