Dior · 11/03/2006 20:10

No, he's in bed by 7pm!

tinyFox · 11/03/2006 20:10

no way that scares me with all the blood and gore, i don't think they need to see that. in my opinion.

WickedViperWitch · 11/03/2006 20:10

No and he's 8. I really don't think it's suitable for children. Nor is Eastenders etc but I realise I'm in a minority on this usually.

No

I still remember an episode about a squash racket ending up in someones neck that I found quite disturbing at the age of 20 something.

Also wierd program - show someone going around doing their business then show them ill, in casualty, dead etc...

busybusybee · 11/03/2006 20:13

No I wouldnt - But someone I know does Shock

"Because he wants to be a doctor"

DD doesn't like it as she hates anything to do with blood and hospitals, think it is quite frightening for little kids.

I didn't like "General Hospital" when I was little. I loved Quincy though Grin

WigWamBam · 11/03/2006 20:17

No. It's adult topics so not suitable viewing, and not a suitable time either.

hermykne · 11/03/2006 20:18

no

Passionflower · 11/03/2006 20:18

No chance! We go to DVD's between 6 - bed (6.30/7.00) Won't let them watch the news even. Horrifies me some of the stuff shown on the 6pm news. Angry

cece · 11/03/2006 20:22

no but that is because I don't like it..... too gory for me. Not realy what I call entertainment!

Now CSI (for me, not dd/ds) is another matter. That is what I call entertainment!

ladymuck · 11/03/2006 20:28

No. Too late, too adult.

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 11/03/2006 20:31

If he was up - then yes - both of them sometimes watch the old series of ER with me during the day...........

soyabean · 11/03/2006 20:33

Definitely not. But I should say that dd2 did emerge from hospital after having had a very nasty cut on her lip sewn up (including overnight stay and GA) not at all traumatised and saying she wanted to be a doctor ('... and sew people back up when they have a hurtie with blood coming out of it', LOL). Wouldn't sit her in front of Casualty to try to encourage the idea though... even if she was ever awake at the time!

BettySpaghetti · 11/03/2006 20:43

No way (although I'm sure DD who's 6 would love it as she has a fascination with anything medical! If theres any mention of blood she comes running "where, where, can I see..?" )

Greensleeves · 11/03/2006 20:50

NOOO!!!ShockShock

HappyMumof2 · 11/03/2006 20:53

yes, I'm pretty sure by ds had watched it occasionaly at that age (when he was still up)

He's actually watching it now (he's now 6.8yrs)

busybusybee · 11/03/2006 21:40

All but one has said Nooooooooooo

I cant imagine letting my kids watch what I consider to be adult interest tv until they are old enough to understand most of the content.

But then given what I saw a parent allow their 7yo and 18 month old do today, maybe I am entirely different kind of parent!!!!!!!!
