Tots Bots easyfits and rash

My DSis has recently started using easyfits with her DS but they have been giving him a really angry rash all round the nappy area which disappears when he's back in disposables.

We've tried strip washing them but it's made no difference.
It doesn't seem to be a reaction to the washing powder as he's not rashy anywhere else.

If anyone has any thoughts on this please share! :)

What version of easyfits are they? The new version are made from minky which isn't a natural fibre I don't think, maybe allergic to the fabric? Think the older versions are maybe bamboo which is natural but can't remember exactly. Is she using liners? Possibly an allergic reaction to them? I would suggest if she has any other type of cloth in a different fabric to the easyfits she should try them and see what happens, or try a different brand in the same fabric and see if it also causes a rash. Easyfits have quite a high re-sale value so she could always sell them on if there is an allergy to them.

I agree with WeeLors, the new easyfits aren't a patch on the old ones. My ds didn't get on with the minky either.

Hi, she's using both v2 and v3 and she's borrowed one of my mio solos but all with the same result. She's using flushable paper liners, not sure if she's tried different liner - I'll suggest that, thanks.

What about using a fleece liner? Might find it keeps the wetness away from the skin better than the flushables?

I think she got fleece liners with the nappies so will suggest that.
