wet nappies in wash with clothes?

My little boy has recently potty trained in the day, but still wears a cloth nappy at night. Sometimes this is dry and he just does a big wee first thing, but often it is wet. He's only 18months so I don't expect him to be dry at night any time soon. He doesn't poo in his nappies (or ever in his knickers, so no need to put clothes in a nappy wash due to accidents). Do they still need to be properly washed as cloth nappies in their own washing load with nappy cleanser? Or can I just pop them in with clothes and normal powder? I just can't decide whether it's disgusting or not!

It's not disgusting :)

Just be careful if your nappies have aplix/velcro that they don't catch on the clothes.
