DD1 was playing with kitchen things standing on a chair by the microwave. I was busy but heard it opening and closing a few times but didn't think anything of it. 10 mins later I heard it go on and dd started to cry:
"Mummy mummy, happy birthday sauce, happy birthday sauce, call the fire brigade!"
I couldn't figure what she meant then looked in the microwave and she'd put inside it a sachet of restaraunt ketchup and somehow switched it on. The foil wrapper was sparking a bit.
I cracked up when I realised what she'd been talking about. She didn't know how to say "on fire" but she'd seen the birthday candles last week at her cousin's party and tried to explain by calling it "happy birthday sauce"... floored me....
