I took my dd3 to Ibiza last year when she was 4 months, I found it much easier going with a baby before weaning (had went away when dd2 was 7 months) I was able to buy ready made formula airside at my local airport but I had made up an emergency bottle at home before travelling and was allowed to carry it through security after tasting it. The 100ml liquid rule doesn't apply to formula.

For the way home I had kept some ready made cartons and was able to carry them through security at Ibiza and on to the plane with no problem at all.
