When one parent is flavour of the month

For 2 months now DS (2) has been in a strong phase of 'mummy mummy mummy' and DH isn't getting a look in. It was lovely for me to begin with, as before this DS was a real Daddy's boy. However now that it's so strong in the other direction it's becoming problematic. DH is grumpy because DS won't go to him, and I'm finding it hard being the one who has to do everything with DS. Any advice on ways to manage this welcomed Smile

Not really had this with mine. Are you a SAHM? Does he see his Dad for a decent amount of time (whatever that is?!)
How about they go out on a 'boys only' trip? Not too far and no pressure, even just to the park and an ice cream.

Thanks Camper. I work 3 days, DS goes to nursery. DH is around evenings/weekends. DS is fine with others (DH, GPs etc) when I'm not there, but if I'm nearby he just wants to hang off me at the moment. I'm sure the mummy preference will ease off, or switch back to DH soon enough so I should enjoy it while it lasts. Just wondered if others had similar experiences.
