Has anyone done B203, business studies in context?

I'm trying to decide what my next course should be. I'm doing a degree in Business studies with accountancy, this is a compulsory module, and I'm a bit worried about it. It only starts once a year, so I should really do this next, over B292- my preferred next step. But at the minute I don't feel like I'm handling studying brilliantly- I'm a single parent, ex has no access with DD, I work 30 hrs a week, and theres the house, I'm feeling a tad tired at the minute. B292 has two starts a year, so could do that after this, but I'm very nervous about a 60 credit level 2 over Christmastime- I work in retail, so it's not the greatest time of year anyway.

Anyone done both/either and could give me a bit of feedback?

Hi. I'm doing the same degree with the OU and am due to start B203 in October. I would have ideally done B292 next as it leads on from B291 which I am doing now (are you?) but it would mean having a gap in my study plan due to when the courses start and I just want to get my degree as quickly as possible! I've heard B203 is pretty intense but as its compulsory i'm thinking I might as well get it over and done with. No idea how I am going to fit more study in with work, kids and everything else, but I'll have to find the time somehow!

I'm doing the same degree too and start B203 in October - I have only heard bad things about it but it needs to be done - and can't be any worse than B201 which I am doing now.

I transferred 120 credits from a brick Uni and did B291/2 and B629 (highly highly recommended) last year, doing B201 just now and B203 and B321 in October.

I work in retail too, and also do 30 hours a week. I'm very lucky that I have DH to take some of the strain but he works away a lot so can't always be relied on. I am shattered at the moment, DH has been away for 2 weeks, I have been working lots, started at 5am this morning, finished at 3, Mum is having DD overnight so I can finish a TMA and all I want to do is go to sleep :( I don't know how you manage by yourself, I will stop moaning now and get on with it!

Anyway, back to your question! I would do B203 and get it out the road, B292 doesn't really have very much to do with B291 at all, nothing repeats itself.

There is a superb group already started on facebook for B203, really recommend you join (even if you don't have a facebook account you can open one just for study groups). I joined the one for B201 and its been invaluable, people post notes from tutorials, their own notes etc etc and it really helps to chat with others going through the same thing!
