Waiting for decision?

Does anyone know the protocol for uni admissions for mature applicants? I have forwarded my results (of OU module) as requested, but don't know if I'll have to wait for A level results day or longer to hear back. I met my conditions so just sitting here with fingers crossed!

In your situation I might contact the appropriate university office once today by phone, to check if they have received what you sent.

Universities will get A-level results over the weekend and the admissions tutor will probably be very busy next week. It's probably not worth phoning next week or during Clearing since lots of others will be doing so!

Most likely your paperwork is already being processed, but it's a very busy time of year for them so there isn't much point trying to hurry up the process.

Can you see details of your application on the UCAS Track site? They have a lot of helpful advice for applicants and as far as I'm aware, mature applicants are not treated any differently from any others in terms of the technical side of offers becoming visible on the site. See www.ucas.ac.uk/students/offers/ for details.

Thanks, that's really helpful, I'll see if I can give them a call now, but might be a bit late!

I didn't have to wait until the a level results came out, I got contact via ucas before then. I would check your ucas account and see
